About The University of Central Missouri
The University of Central Missouri was founded as Normal School No. 2 with the goal of educating teachers. It became the Warrensburg Teachers College and then the Central Missouri State Teachers College in 1919. In 1945, the name was changed to Central Missouri State College before another name change in 1972 which made it Central Missouri State University. In 2006, the school name changed again to the University of Central Missouri.

University of Central Missouri Admissions Requirements
Students who have not earned college credits after high school are considered freshmen at the University of Central Missouri. Students must complete an online application and pay the application fee. Students must also provide official transcripts as well as official ACT or SAT scores.
